- De-String your guitar. (Remove all the strings)
- Unscrew any pickguard(s) and other hardware on the face (front body) of your guitar.
- Be sure the surface is clean, dry and lint-free. Do NOT use any gum-residue cleaner prior to application. If a sticky-gum remover is necessary, you MUST re-clean the surface with a regular surface cleaner and let dry. To obtain the best results, you must be patient.
