Woody Herringbone Binding That Follows the Curve.
This woody herringbone binding decal adds a warm, woodwork-inspired trim line with the look of decorative binding or purfling. The flexible straight strips can be guided along rounded contours, making it easier to create a custom-style border that ordinary rigid decals cannot easily achieve. Choose from three widths to match the look and scale you want for your instrument.
Available in three widths:
1/8 in (about 3 mm)
5/32 in (around 4 mm)
0.2 in (around 5 mm)

Binding Joint Options
When two binding pieces meet end to end, there are several ways to finish the joint.
Butt joint: A simple square-end joint where the two pieces meet directly. This is the recommended method.
Overlap joint: An easier method where the two pieces overlap slightly. About 2 cm of overlap is usually enough.
Scarf joint: An angled joint that can help make the seam less noticeable. The angle can run across either the top or the side of the binding strip.
